Contender Peach Tree

The Contender Peach is one of the most dependable and cold-hardy peach varieties available — delivering sweet, juicy fruit even in areas with late spring frosts.

Known for its exceptional cold tolerance, Contender produces large, golden-yellow peaches with a beautiful red blush. The flesh is firm, fine-textured, and incredibly sweet with classic peach flavor. This freestone variety makes slicing easy, whether you’re enjoying it fresh off the tree, baking cobblers, or preserving summer’s harvest.

In early spring, the tree showcases stunning pink blossoms before developing into a vigorous grower with consistent, heavy yields. Contender is also highly resistant to bacterial leaf spot, making it a reliable choice for backyard growers.
